Solo Performer

The Upbeats perform mainly as a 4 piece band – guitar, bass, keyboards and drums. We can also perform as a 3 piece if space or budget is an issue.

Another option is you can book our frontman Mark Pearson as a solo performer. Mark has performed as a solo act at hundreds of events from wedding parties, corporate events such as ‘The Boat Show’ at the Excel Centre, London and at functions across Europe – including Rome, St Tropez & Corfu – as well as many birthday parties in conservatories, marquee’s in the garden and even in a teepee! What the Upbeats Band do…

From the moment you book us, we are at your service. You can contact us any time with questions, updates and special requests. We know that to organise your own party or wedding can be exciting, confusing, wonderful and stressful - all at the same time! We’re there every step of the way to re-assure you in anyway we can.

First dances, speeches, special songs, surprise events – we’ve done them all and we can help make it all as easy as possible. All you need to worry about is enjoying yourself...

At a typical event, we arrive a couple of hours before we are due to play. We set up all of our state of the art PA sound system and lights, ready to go. As well as using our vast experience, we work with you in deciding what to play (and what not to play…!) Also, we put on all the music between our sets – our DJ sets. Where are we? And where will we go?

A question we are often asked is …’where are you based?’. Well - the short answer, our central location is in Gloucestershire. But - we have travelled everywhere, from Glasgow to Truro, from London to Rome, from Newcastle to Stroud!

So if we said we are omnipresent, it sounds a little pretentious but it’s almost true! We will travel anywhere. Of course, the further we travel, the more we have to add on for travel expense.
